Zanden's model 9000 is a pair of 300B push-pull mono block amplifiers. It is designed with the same goal as the 7000 line of amplifiers, which is the realistic reproduction of live music. However, Zanden realizes that there are limitations to what kind of speakers can be used with 8 watts. Enter the model 9000. With a higher power output than the 7000 line of amplifiers, it can be used with moderately efficient speakers. However, the model 9000 is no brute, and the sound is definitely Zanden.

The model 9000 mono blocks share many of the same features as the 7000 line of amplifiers. The power supply is constructed entirely from tube rectifiers for the cleanest, quietest power supply. A PC board is utilized to achieve the shortest possible signal path, and the highest quality parts are used throughout, including polypropylene film caps. The base, front and rear panels are constructed of 16 mm thick aluminum to keep vibrations to a minimum. The unit is then covered with beautiful stainless steel polished to a mirror finish. An excellent passive volume attenuator made by DACT is also included, so a preamplifier is not necessary.
The model 9000 has a patented 2nd stage direct coupled NO-NFB (no negative feedback) vacuum tube circuit. Befitting its higher power output is an exclusive permalloy output transformer. The model 9000 satisfies the music lover who is looking for a little more power.
